Poor Missionaries Category : Christmas Jokes A missionary family was home on furlough. One Sunday they went to one of their supporting churches and were dressed in unclean, wrinkled, old clothing. This caused quite a stir in the church members. After the service, one of the deacons asked them, "Why are you dressed so shabbily?" The father of the family replied, "Why, these are the clothes your church so 'graciously' collected and sent to us. So we thought you would appreciate us wearing them while we were here!"
